What kinds of tools do you use on your projects? Mostly hand tools? Power tools? Anything you couldn't do without?

  DT-750 info
Posted by: VoltsAndBolts - 08-06-2015, 10:09 AM - Forum: Hardware - No Replies

I plan to ues the DT-750 kv motor on my Tri project. Though I would post a little info on it. It has a short bell and a relatively large diameter that contains 14 magnets, the stator has 12 windings. Bearings are 4x8x3mm I hear older units from around 2011 used a 4x7x2.5mm. I may take one apart measure it up and model it on CAD.

  SSG for FPV
Posted by: VoltsAndBolts - 07-18-2015, 10:23 AM - Forum: Hardware - No Replies

I was hunting for a simple DIY gimbal setup and I think this is it!

I found it over on RCGroups,  it's the SSG or Super Simple Gimbal  by crezzee

Take a look for your self. I think it works pretty damn good considering the low parts count, all I can say is "Good Job!"
